近年、染谷将太「ブランク」（2018）、吉開菜央「梨君たまこと牙のゆくえ」（2019）をはじめ、吉田大八『美しい星』（2017）、冨永昌敬「ローリング」（2018）など映画オリジナル・サウンドトラックを多数手がける音楽家・渡邊琢磨が、自らメガフォンを執った監督作品「ECTO」を制作。5月25日（土）、26日（日）の2日に亘り、茨城・水戸芸術館 ACM劇場での上映およびサウンドトラック生演奏が決定しています。 染谷将太監督作品「清澄」のスピンオフがアイディアの基点となっているという「ECTO」は、渡邊自身が監督・脚本・編集・音楽を務め、抽象場面監督にBjorkとのコラボレートやPerfumeの映像演出などで知られるTAKCOM、出演には「ブランク」でもタッグを組んだ染谷将太や「清澄」の川瀬陽太、佐津川愛美を迎えた“謎の幻想怪奇映画”。上映当日のサウンドトラック生演奏は、渡邊が指揮する13名の弦楽アンサンブル（徳澤青弦, 鈴木正人, 梶谷裕子, 千葉広樹, 波多野敦子 ほか）によるパフォーマンス。各公演の冒頭に「清澄」の上映も決定しています。
